I study land-atmosphere interactions particularly the emissions of biogenic hydrocarbons from trees. The title of my dissertation is “The fate of biogenic hydrocarbons in forest canopies”.
I have collaborated and worked on metereological towers throughout the world including sites in the mangroves at the Everglades National Park, salt marshes at the eastern shore of Virgina, creosote/grassland at the Sevilleta LTER, mixed hardwood forest in Central Virginia, and in Western Senegal.
